New ideas

how come no one comes up with new scary movie ideas. they just remake all of the same movies. like Friday the thirteenth or my bloody valentine. and then they make movies that have the same theme as others like the uninvited reminded me of hide and seek. how about instead of remaking the old ones some one comes up with something new.

    Uh. I'm don't watch that many scary movies so I don't really realize if they copy eachother. But i do like to watch them.

    I agree. It seems like every movie is exactly the same....we need new ideas.....like being attacked by a killer school lunch hotdog or something. Haha

    I think the movie industry might be at a point where they have made everything already and now it's just horrible remakes that make me lose all respect for the original. Never really liked scary movies but i have noticed alot of remakes.

    I think the reason is because they see what people like and run with it and people like those movies so they just remake them. It also saves money because they already have all the set to do the movie with.

    I agree. Its all the same and its starting to get annoying and boring. I cant think of any ideas tho so maybe they should continue what they are doing until something new and better comes along.

    I think that its partially a lack of originality and partially the fact that the movie producers see something they like and want to do it better than everyone else. so they try to see if they can do something similar but better. and all that happens is the people of the world get annoyed. end of story.

    Yeah really i totally agree with you they really need to start coming up with there own movies. HAHA maybe we should make one of our own lol. It would be so much fun! Anyways we need to work on our English haha

    a good idea would be a serial killer that like works at a haunted house that takes people away to kill them, but people would think its a part of the haunted house until, of course, he starts killing them

    I like watching some scary movies but I find scary movies to be very predictable. I agree they should make a lot more original scary movies.

    I think its because they think they can do better than the originals and totally blow them away, but in reality it makes them look foolish and not kno how to come up with their own ideas. I like the Rob Zombie movies..they're a lit'l weird, but they are original..even when he is doing a remake of an older movie. =]
